Great post, sorry youβve had a tough and stressful time. My vote is that anything vintage/preloved/charity etc. shouldnβt count this year. Ease yourself into this challenge, go with no newly produced clothes and then next year when things have hopefully settled a little for you, you can reassess. Also emergency airport shoe purchases do not count.
Ahh thank you! I think my worry is that Iβll end up replacing a new clothes addiction with an old clothes one if I do that - which might be better for the planet and my pocket but doesnβt get to the root of the issue, which is needless consumerism. But youβre right! Maybe I need to use it as a stepping stone!
